upcoming workshop - learn how to instruct Gym based exercise sessions

We are really excited to announce that TAHNEE RICHELLE will be delivering a Hands On Practical Workshop in Wollongong.  This is an opportunity for people who are thinking about a career in fitness to get a real world, hands on experience with what it feels like to be a fitness instructor.


In this workshop you will learn to instruct a full body strength training session including: 

  • How to do compound leg, chest and back exercises in the gym
  • The main muscles used, breathing and tempo for each exercise
  • Basic instructor techniques using the ESIC Method
  • Cueing and correction for common technique errors
  • Common variations and substitutions for each exercise
  • Fitness career opportunities and course options available

This workshop is ideal for people who are:

  • thinking about starting a course to become a qualified fitness instructor,
  • already studying to become a qualified fitness instructor or personal trainer, and
  • recent fitness course graduates looking to build some extra confidence.

My Background: Tahnee is a dedicated gym owner, nutritionist, and personal trainer who has transformed her life from being overweight and battling Type II Diabetes to becoming healthy and fit.
As someone who has experienced the challenges and triumphs of weight loss and health improvement, Tahnee brings empathy, expertise, and inspiration to her clients.
She is committed to creating personalised fitness and nutrition plans that empower individuals to take control of their health and transform their lives just as she has done with her own.

Student Expectations: Students are expected to maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude during practice sessions. Students need to make sure they are well prepared for the sessions, having watched the demonstration videos, prepared the paperwork and have your practice clients organised.

Student Opportunities: Students can come and train with me at the gym and watch some sessions.
